About the opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join a high-performing Medical Affairs team. This field-based role will focus on scientific engagement with key healthcare professionals, thought leaders and healthcare institutions across your territory. You will act as a trusted scientific partner, facilitating meaningful scientific exchange, gathering valuable medical insights and supporting the development of medical strategies that ultimately improve patient outcomes. Duties • Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals and key accounts • Facilitate peer-to-peer scientific exchange on disease states, emerging clinical data and pipeline developments • Gather, analyse and communicate medical insights to inform medical strategy and future initiatives • Support clinical research activities and collaborate with Clinical Operations • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial and other internal teams • Execute territory planning activities and identify opportunities for strategic scientific engagement Skills and Experience • Advanced scientific or healthcare qualification including PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, Nursing or equivalent • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison/Senior Medical Science Liaison • Oncology experience gained within industry, clinical practice or research • Strong ability to engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Culture Join a collaborative and values-driven organisation that places patients at the centre of everything they do. About the opportunity An opportunity has become available for an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join a highly regarded Medical Affairs team supporting the Neuroscience portfolio across NSW & QLD. This is a true field medical role for someone who enjoys scientific exchange, strategic thinking and building long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals. You will use your scientific expertise to understand the evolving treatment landscape, identify unmet clinical needs and generate insights that shape future medical strategy. Duties • Develop trusted scientific relationships with neurologists and key HCPs • Deliver high-quality scientific exchange aligned with Medical Affairs strategy • Generate meaningful medical insights and communicate findings back to the business • Identify evidence gaps and opportunities to improve patient outcomes • Support medical strategy across both marketed products and pipeline assets • Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Commercial and other internal stakeholders • Support medical education activities, congresses and scientific meetings • Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving landscape and competitive environment • Contribute to evidence generation and Medical Affairs initiatives throughout the product life cycle Skills and Experience • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a field-based Medical Affairs role • Neuroscience experience is highly desirable • Candidates with strong MSL experience in other specialist therapy areas are also encouraged to apply • Demonstrated ability to engage in high-level scientific discussions with HCPs • Proven experience generating strategic medical insights from field interactions • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills • Life Sciences, Pharmacy or other relevant healthcare qualification • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team Culture This is a Medical Affairs team known internally for its collaboration, knowledge sharing and genuine support of one another.
