About the Role A leading private cardiology group in Inner West Sydney is seeking a motivated Cardiologist to join their established team. This rare opportunity is open to general cardiologists, as well as those with a subspecialty interest in imaging or electrophysiology. The practice offers a supportive team environment, strong referrer networks, and excellent facilities designed to help you thrive. Key Responsibilities Conduct outpatient consultations and provide ongoing cardiovascular care. Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, and stress testing. For imaging specialists: undertake and report transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiography; cardiac CT or MRI reporting (if credentialed). For electrophysiologists: assess and manage patients with arrhythmia; perform procedures such as ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, and device follow-up. Collaborate with colleagues and referrers to deliver coordinated patient care. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, professional development, and practice growth activities. The practice uses modern technology, advanced reporting systems, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and compassionate patient service. The Vacancy Due to expansion, a (General, Imaging, or Electrophysiology) cardiologist vacancy has become available to join the team. There is currently a wait list of ~12 months, reflecting strong demand for much needed services — so you’ll be stepping into a busy practice with unsatisfied patient demand.
