About the opportunity As the Clinical Maternity Systems Specialist, Midwifery, you will play a critical role in assessing how a leading international maternity digital system will be adapted for the Australian market. You will map maternity pathways, analyse state and national clinical and reporting requirements, and work closely with clinical and technical teams across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Reporting to a senior public health leader, your insights will shape decisions on localisation, feasibility and product direction. Duties Analyse and map maternity pathways across priority states Review differences in national and state maternity workflows Assess screening tools, reporting requirements and clinical protocols Provide senior midwifery insight for system localisation Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders across multiple countries Contribute to feasibility and business case assessment for the Australian market Skills and Experience Registered Midwife (practising or non-practising, Australian healthcare environment and experience essential) Experience in digital health or maternity transformation Strong understanding of Australian maternity pathways (national and state-based, ideally Victoria, Western Australia and/or Queensland) Excellent communication and documentation capabilities Culture Collaborative, mission-led and focused on improving safety, quality and patient empowerment. About the opportunity Reporting above country into a global Market Access and HEOR leader, and partnering closely with the ANZ Market Access lead, this role owns the local economic modelling and HEOR agenda across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on, high-visibility position responsible for adapting global value frameworks into locally relevant HTA submissions, reimbursement strategies and payer narratives. While the role retains exposure to evidence planning, the core focus is on economic modelling, HTA engagement and execution excellence across PBAC, PHARMAC and other reimbursement bodies. You will act as the ANZ subject matter expert for product value, translating complex technical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights that directly influence pricing and reimbursement recommendations. Duties Lead the local adaptation and execution of Market Access, HEOR and economic modelling strategies to support reimbursement and access outcomes across ANZ Adapt and localise global cost-effectiveness, budget impact and public health models for HTA submissions Oversee the preparation and delivery of PBAC, PHARMAC and other reimbursement dossiers, in close partnership with Market Access Represent the HEOR perspective in early scientific advice, HTA engagement and benefit assessment processes Translate complex economic and outcomes data into clear, compelling value narratives for payer and institutional stakeholders Ensure alignment between global value dossiers and local requirements, while feeding regional insights back into global teams Manage and direct external vendors and consultants, ensuring quality, compliance and delivery against timelines Contribute to congress abstracts, publications and value communication assets where appropriate Mandatory Skills and Experience Significant experience in Market Access and/or HEOR within pharmaceuticals, biotech or vaccines Demonstrated involvement in Australian HTA submissions (PBAC essential; PHARMAC highly regarded) Strong understanding of health economic modelling concepts and their application in reimbursement decision making Hands-on experience adapting or developing cost-effectiveness or budget impact models Exposure to real-world evidence and its use in HTA submissions Relevant academic qualifications including degree and ideally post-graduate qualifications in health economics, market access, public health or related field Benefits Market leading remuneration package including STIs, LTIs Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family Life and disability insurance Access to additional leave Generous well-being allowance and employee assistance program How to Apply Contact Adrian McConchie, Director Life Sciences at amcconchie@hpgconnect in condience for further information.
