About the Opportunity
Be the first Medical Science Liaison in Australia for a globally renowned CNS-focused biopharmaceutical company. In this field-based position, you will lead all medical engagement activities for a first-in-class MS treatment. Acting as the primary scientific interface with key neurologists and MS specialists, you’ll be instrumental in driving scientific exchange, capturing field insights, and informing global strategy. This is a high-impact, autonomous role with a strong strategic voice during both pre-launch and post-launch phases.

Duties
  • Develop and execute regional medical engagement plans aligned with global MS strategy
  • Lead external scientific exchange activities and represent the company at conferences, advisory boards, and symposia
  • Provide expert insights from the field to inform global clinical and commercial teams
  • Support medical education initiatives, clinical development programs, and launch readiness
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and local compliance of educational and promotional materials
  • Act as a trusted medical resource within cross-functional teams, contributing to commercial alignment and ethical promotion
Skills and Experience
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (Master’s, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar field-based medical role
  • Experience in Multiple Sclerosis or CNS/neurology, with an established KOL network
  • Deep understanding of the Australian neurology landscape and treatment ecosystem
  • Excellent communication and scientific presentation skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while collaborating across regional and global teams
