About the company

Our client is a privately-owned, distribution business who are well recognised within the Medical Devices & Consumables market. They have expanded tremendously over the last few years - drivers of this growth have been, increased penetration of their existing portfolio, new state contract awards, new supplier transitions and complete business acquisitions.

About the opportunity

Out client is seeking an ambitious Territory Manager to be responsible for driving a diverse Cardiology portfolio. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will undergo typical sales management activities such as; driving business through the Public and Private Hospital contracts and suppliers, networking with key customers in the field, conducting field visits, and identifying development opportunities for your region, whilst managing Key Accounts.

This role requires someone who is self-motivated, adaptable and tenacious, with an exceptionally driven attitude to effectively the territory.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven and demonstrable Hospital Medical Device sales experience
  • Cardiology experience advantageous
  • Ability to develop relationships across multiple customer groups in the Hospital & clinic setting
  • An understanding and working knowledge of a distribution model
  • Experience in developing new business and generating growth from existing accounts
  • Experience working towards defined budget, sales and activity expectations
  • Can effectively convey clinical and technical information
  • Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial attitude and analytical skills
  • Tertiary Science / Nursing degree will be reviewed favourably
