About the opportunity

Due to sustainable growth, this well-accomplished and respected diagnostics company is expanding their ANZ team. 

In this newly created Technical Sales Specialist position, you will be responsible for managing and providing on-site and remote services to support hospital, academia and research laboratories customers, within an aim to increase market share.  This will be managed through the promotion of varied scientific products, whilst assisting with all technical customer and internal queries

Striving to continuously build a strong brand for yourself and employer alike, this role will require interstate and offer international travel.


Skills & Experience Required


  • Tertiary Qualifications in Diagnostic, Chemistry, Science or Life Sciences
  • Working Laboratory experience, crucial
  • Technically minded, with ability to grasp and convey highly technical knowledge
  • Comfortable in technical troubleshooting, educating and training
  • Proven infield sales experience, highly advantageous
  • Exposure to Diagnostic Laboratory instrumentation, equipment and products
  • Commercial mindset, with ability to identify business opportunity
  • Ability to meet KPIs and set business and financial objectives
  • Proven ability to build & maintain relationships with customers & stakeholders
  • Demonstrate capabilities in effective business relationships building and management
  • Articulate communication skills, with strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Positive, self-starter, self-driven, tenacious and resilient
