About the company
Working for a leading supplier for Medical & Surgical Consumables across Australia.
About the opportunity
In this role you will work closely with the wider supply chain team on a permanent full-time basis supporting the planning and management of materials meeting the demands across the business.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, review performance and monitor and review ways to improve processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Maintain strong communications and relationships with suppliers
• Analysts supply requirements and provide future forecast of raw materials and finished good
• Review supplier performance and optimising shipping costs
• Review and report on product availability issues and solutions around supply gaps
• Monitor inventory, expired and slow moving and obsolete lines
• Run reports and conduct analysis based on business needs
Skills and Experience
• Experience working In the Healthcare or FMCG industries
• Experience working in Supply Planning role with high SKU preferably
• Inventory management
• Strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
• ERP experience & intermediate advanced excel
