About the company
Our client is a global Pharmaceutical company that focuses on developing new and innovative medicines.

About the opportunity
This Supply Chain Associate will execute importation of products into market, manage inventory in market, reverse logistics operations to meet compliance standards.

Duties
  • Support In-Market Import/Export, Transportation and Warehousing activities, Logistics operation issues, inventory management
  • Report, assess, and track Logistics KPIs/ metrics and provide comprehensive logistics data analytics
  • Support In-market logistics service provider per logistics service agreement
  • Actively participate in the monthly demand planning cycle. DCM, PLMSupport in-market distributor & wholesaler inventory relationship
  • Support Business Continuity Management (BCM) where directed
  • Transact Logistics Systems activities (TIR, DIR, etc.)
  • Support budgeting, reporting, audits as well as annual stocktake
  • Provide back up support to market CSA
  • Support the creation and review of local/regional SOP’s
  • Participate where required on small projects across divisions/departments/regions, including the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Support the market S&OP in collaboration with leaders

Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Engineering or Business, preferably with focus on operations / supply chain
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics within the biotech/pharma industry
  • Experience on SAP, systems implementations, interface maintenance
  • Understanding of current Good Distribution Practices and local market regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record in collaborating and negotiating with external vendors
  • Knowledge of best practice in managing strategic logistical service providers
  • High customer orientation, excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
  • Analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
