Benefits 
  • Be paid using an ABN and provide once a month Wednesday and/or Thursday support for a clinic located in Greater Western Sydney
  • Manage a range of studies to include vein incompetence scan or assist with foam sclerotherapy and endovenous laser ablation
  • Expect a 7.5 hour work load  
  • Provide support to a team of three doctors

Role Overview:

The clinic is seeking a highly skilled Vascular Sonographer to join the team. This role is essential for providing accurate and detailed ultrasound imaging of vascular structures, contributing to the diagnosis and management of a variety of vein conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vascular sonography and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations,venous incompetence, DVT, Ovarian and IVC scans 
  • Work on one site once or twice a month on Wednesday or Thursday in the first week of the month
  • Competent in using GE machines  
  • Provide high quality patient care   students, sharing expertise and knowledge to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification in Vascular Sonography 
  • Extensive experience in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasound examinations.
  • Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and techniques, with a solid understanding of vascular anatomy and pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Current ASAR registration with relevant professional bodies and licenses.
