A vacancy for Tuesday's has become available for a general sonogarpher to do MSK and general sonography studies.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including MSK, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and small parts, utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.
- Patient Care: Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during ultrasound procedures, explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Image Analysis: Accurately interpret and analyze ultrasound images, providing detailed and timely reports
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the medical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to established protocols and quality assurance standards, participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements
- Work Independently
- Degree/Diploma in Medical Sonography: Successful completion of an accredited program in medical sonography.
- Registration: Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience as a General Sonographer with experience managing MSK studies
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Philips ultrasound equipment
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and referring physicians.
