The Facility  

This facility is a major health-care facility located in centre part of Australia. The hospital serves the Central Australia region, providing health-care services to a wide area that covers remote and Indigenous communities.
The hospital is a modern, well-equipped facility with multiple departments and specialties. It has a range of medical and surgical services, including emergency care, maternity and birthing suites, intensive care, radiology, pathology, mental health, paediatrics, and various outpatient clinics. The hospital also has operating theatres and rehabilitation services.  The hospital has a broad range of patients from rural and remote locations . The hospital's staff includes health-care professionals who have experience working with Indigenous communities and understanding their unique health-care needs. The hospital collaborates with other health-care providers and tertiary hospitals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

Responsibilities  

As a Permanent or locum sonographer who can commit to a minimum 4 week term,  you will perform a wide variety of scans and reporting to include:  General, MSK, Obstetrics, Vascular, Small Parts and Deep Tissue scans. The group is made up of a team of sonographers and doctors.   


Requirements 

  • ASAR Accreditation 
  • Up to date flu shot and COVID Vaccinations
  • WWC Check 
  • Valid Police Check  
  • Up to date immunisation records
