About the opportunity
Looking for a trusted payroll expert to make sure all employees are paid accurately and on time with no errors whilst ensuring compliance with ANZ legislation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with payroll provider to ensure the salaries/wages to all employees of ANZ are correctly paid and on time
- Assist to solve any errors related to Payroll
- Make sure all records are compliant with both ANZ legislation as well as the companies policies & procedures
- Prepare payroll reports
- Manage and answer queries from employees with any matters to do with payroll
- Keep up to date with technical knowledge of Payroll function, Superannuation, Workers Compensation Law, Share Schemes, Insurance, Fleet, Industrial Legislation, Technological advancements and Tax Legislation covering Income/Fringe Benefits and Payroll Tax
- Monitor and manage payroll legislation compliance and ensure compliance
- Various other ad hoc payroll related duties as needed
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years experience in similar Payroll position
- Qualification or certification in Payroll
- Knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation
- High attention to detail
- Project Management experience and ability to work in a fast paced environment
