About the opportunity As a Senior Demand and Supply Planner, you will play a vital role in optimizing demand plans and driving supply chain efficiencies. Reporting to the ANZ Supply Chain Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including sales, marketing, and finance. Your work will directly impact the achievement of sales goals, inventory management, and customer satisfaction. This is an important position that contributes to the overall success of the business and the market. As the business are proficient in SAP IBP, they are looking for someone who has used this consistently.
Duties
Develop and optimize demand plans to maximize working capital opportunities
Manage multiple portfolios from forecast to stock in warehouse
Running Statistical Model simulations in SAP IBP
Understanding all modules in SAP IBP
Align sales forecast and financial plan with the demand plan, ensuring accuracy and bias targets are met
Lead decision-making processes for demand plans and sales plans for new product and market initiatives
KPI reporting - forecast accuracy, bias, inventory, SLOBs and Excess
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data, insights, and training on forecasting processes
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve cost savings, efficiencies, and LEAN concepts
Negotiate with international partners and optimize capacity settings
Analyze inventory levels and manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks
Skills and Experience
Proficiency in SAP IBP
Experience as a senior demand planner within a regulated industry
Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
Experience and passion for continuous improvement
Excellent commercial and financial business skills
