About the opportunity
Rare opportunity for a Senior Clinical Research Scientist to take full scientific ownership and deliver real-world impact. You’ll lead the design and execution of clinical studies across both new product innovations and exploratory research areas in the medical device space. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clinical study protocols from scratch, in alignment with regulatory standards and current scientific literature.
  • Oversee all aspects of study conduct, including study design, statistical approach, procedures, data collection, and monitoring.
  • Analyse study data and prepare reports summarising findings for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with medical affairs, usability, bioscience testing, and regional teams to embed clinical evidence into product development.
 
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven track record in protocol authorship
  • Strategic study design experience – able to describe where you have shaped the direction, methodology, and design of clinical research studies.
  • Degree in life sciences, ideally with knowledge of microbiology and/or infection prevention.
  • Minimum 5 years of applied experience in clinical research (pharma, medical device, or academic setting).
  • Experience interpreting microbiological and biochemical outputs.
  • Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
