An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a 12-month contract, commencing mid-August 2025. This is a backfill role, created to support a major global ERP transformation project. You'll play a vital part in ensuring the continuity and accuracy of finance operations across the ANZ business, reporting to senior finance leadership and collaborating with both local and offshore teams.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Accountant to join the team on a 12-month contract, commencing mid-August 2025. You'll play a vital part in ensuring the continuity and accuracy of finance operations across the ANZ business, reporting to senior finance leadership and collaborating with both local and offshore teams.
In this role you will...
- Lead Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close activities
- Liaise daily with an offshore shared service centre for finance operations
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with month-end deadlines
- Support the preparation and lodgement of BAS and annual FBT returns
- Oversee credit reviews, order release approvals, and debtor management
- Act as the key liaison for the external audit process
- Collaborate with third-party logistics and supply chain finance partners
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to global stakeholders
- 5+ years’ accounting experience within pharmaceutical and/ or healthcare, or FMCG
- Worked with outsourced/shared service finance models
- CA/CPA qualified or studying
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
- Experience with Concur (advantageous)
- Proactive communicator with strong stakeholder and time management skills
