About the opportunity
The Scientist will work as part of a team responsible for providing pathogen safety support to the Asia Pacific Region manufacturing sites as required, along with providing global support to general matters related to Pathogen Safety across the organisation.

Duties

• Operations-based, supporting manufacturing and writing risk assessments
• Focus on contamination control
• Support other parts of pathogen safety
• Non-Laboratory based role
• Deviations assessments
• Will use lab data from reports when performing risk assessment
• Process change assessments
• Support all sites in terms of safety
• Documentation
• Stakeholder relationships: manufacturing, and quality

Skills and Experience

• Must have a Masters or Ph.D. in Virology or Biochemistry
• Need to have Virology, process or protein chemistry background
• Biopharma experience ideally
• Be able to problem solve and work independently
• Attention to detail
• Planning and prioritisation skills
• Strong technical writing skills and strong command of language
• Some travel between sites is required
