About the opportunity
The R&D Project Operations Specialist will participate in research and development activities using established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyse data. This role is not based in the laboratory.
 
Duties

• The role involves supporting the project and covering other work as required
• Deviations assessments
• Review of protocols or reports for studies out of labs
• Emerging pathogen assessments
• Pathogen safety
• Regulatory support
• Preparation of safety dossier
• Process change assessments
• Support all sites in terms of safety
• Documentation

 
Skills and Experience

• Must have Masters / PhD in Virology or Biochemistry 
• Experience in Virology or process background
• Pharmaceutical industry experience
• Be able to problem solve and work independently
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Attention to detail
• Planning and prioritisation skills
• Strong technical writing skills and strong command of language

This is a Full-time 12-month contract opportunity based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne with travel required to other sites occasionally. On site work initially until trained up then hybrid option.
