About the opportunity
The R&D Project Operations Specialist will participate in Research and Development activities within the Virus Validation Team.
Duties
- Will work across Two areas - Cell Virus and Compliance Team & Process Virus Validation team
- Work will occur first in the Cell Virus and Compliance Team then over to Process Virus Validation team
- Virus production and assay development
- Technologist position
- Studies in virus clearance
- Carry out experiments and trials, use of tissue cultures
- The person must be comfortable working with human pathogens
- Collect results and analyse data
- Writing of reports
- Compliance component to position
- Virus validation
Skills and Experience
- Science degree required ideally within Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Biomedical Science
- 2-4 years in research and development and testing, bio processes
- Experience in virus studies, work with human pathogens
- Experience in virus production
- Agile and quick learner
- Adapt to new systems
- Open mind
- Can adapt to changing priorities
