About the opportunity
This role is responsible for executing QC Sampling tasks for the site, including viable and non-viable environmental monitoring, critical utility sampling and associated sample submission and processing.
Duties
- Performs Environmental Monitoring of manufacturing facilities
- Perform StarLIMS processing of batch and non-batch related viable samples
- Environmental monitoring sampling
- Water/steam/ compressed gas sampling /testing
- Sample login and management
- Gowning for entry into graded areas
- Identify and communicate all issues regarding the Environmental Monitoring program that may cause delays to service
- Assist investigations into Environmental and Utility Monitoring deviations
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Science preferably in Microbiology)
- Preferably experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Attention to detail and being a quick learner
- Able to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Advanced written English skills
