About the opportunity Work with a close knit procurement team reporting into the Procurement Manager. In this role you will work closely and align yourself with internal stakeholders, manage the category strategies, sourcing, supplier selection and negotiations as well as being part of the development and implementation of local strategies
Duties
Work to support regional and global category managers to work through strategies, market research and analysis
Develop and implement local strategies
Responsible for supplier selection, any negotiations and contracting
Procurement business partnering and category performance
Manage and maintain supplier relationships
Work with suppliers to achieve innovative solutions in line with the business
Maintenance of data of negotiations and contracting processes
Compliance management
Skills and Experience
Working experience in Procurement/Purchasing
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or Supply Chain
Demonstrated experience working cross functionally
Experience working in the Healthcare or FMCG sector advantageous
International exposure advantageous
Experience managing projects
SAP experience
Strong communication skills
Proactive and focused on outcomes
