Our client is a Health Science communications consultancy company that is one of the largest independently owned and financed companies in the medical communications sector.
About the opportunity
The Project Coordinator will work on several publications and med comms accounts working closely to support the team and clients with high-quality project/account management, including project status tracking and financial management.
Duties
- Provide project support to the team throughout the project life cycle
- Provide support in producing cost proposals for clients
- Manage individual projects to support an account, contributing to a successful outcome
- Support the team in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver projects
- Learn about the day-to-day components that make up the project life cycle and incorporate your learnings into the way you manage projects and support the team
- Provide support to the management of project financials through accurate and careful recording, tracking, and timely processing and reconciliation
- Manage the timely review and approval process for documents relating to projects, liaising with clients and external authors if applicable
- Proactively contribute to project status meetings (client and internal); providing up-to-date status reports and ensuring actions and decisions are captured
- Provide administrative, meeting management and logistical support to the team
Skills and Experience
- Degree-level education or relevant experience
- Knowledge of the health science industry or relevant experience Healthcare or Pharmaceuticals is required
- Understanding of project management processes and life cycle
- Competent with various Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to problem solve and prioritise workload
- Be an excellent team player but ability to work autonomously if required
