About the opportunity

This role is ideal for a natural leader who has the ability to mentor and coach a small team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be required manage the production materials and capacity planning as well as collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to achieve desired outcomes in product supply and inventory optimisation across multiple product portfolios.

Duties

• Manage the production and materials planning

• Formulate and communicate plans to balance supply and demand for manufacturing activities

• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to achieve outcomes and forecast accuracy.

• Analysis and risk mitigation

• Weekly and monthly reporting

• Participate in S&OP meetings

• Lead and coach the team within production planning.

• Identify and initiate process improvements

Skills and Experience

• Solid Materials and Production Planning experience within FMCG, Medical or the Pharmaceutical industry is required.

• Exceptional communicator with the ability to lead a small team.

• Strong abilities to engage with key stakeholders

• Proficiency in MRP and Planning tools is essential

• Advanced Excel experience is required

• Experience in participating and contributing towards the S&OP process

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex portfolios.

• Analytical with a high attention to detail.

• Ability to solve problems and identify process improvements.
