About the opportunity An opportunity presents for a Procurement Specialist to join the business supporting the Regional Procurement Manager with the day to day activities and supplier negotiations across all indirect categories with a special focus on marketing and professional services.
Duties
Manage day to day procurement activities for ANZ
Support and execute strategies for indirect categories
First point of contact for all categories
Build relationships with key stakeholders
Seek innovative ways to improve process and customer service levels
Lead supplier negotiations
Execute category strategies locally
Support in tenders and contract documentation
Seek opportunities to deliver savings or add value
Manage the PO approval process
Manage the preferred supplier program
Work on projects across multiple categories
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in procurement with indirect category management
Solid knowledge of procurement processes and contract and vendor management
Experience in negotiations
Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
