About the opportunity
An opportunity presents for a Procurement Specialist to join the business supporting the Regional Procurement Manager with the day to day activities and supplier negotiations across all indirect categories with a special focus on marketing and professional services.
 
Duties

• Manage day to day procurement activities for ANZ
• Support and execute strategies for indirect categories
• First point of contact for all categories
• Build relationships with key stakeholders
• Seek innovative ways to improve process and customer service levels
• Lead supplier negotiations
• Execute category strategies locally
• Support in tenders and contract documentation
• Seek opportunities to deliver savings or add value 
• Manage the PO approval process
• Manage the preferred supplier program
• Work on projects across multiple categories

 
Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in procurement with indirect category management
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes and contract and vendor management
• Experience in negotiations
• Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work autonomously and be proactive
