The Hospital
Providing support to a Regional Hospital in Australia. The hospital serves a catchment population of around 30,000 people. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of imaging services including routine and urgent Echocardiograms and Stress Echocardiograms on both inpatients, outpatients. Aside from imaging services, the hospital also provides emergency, elective, non elective surgery, cardiology, general medicine, orthopaedics, renal services etc.
The Position
A Full time or locum opportunity has become available for an experienced competent cardiac sonographer to provide paediatric and or adult cardiac ultrasound service support. The role will work with a team of imaging staff and work closely with the cardiac investigations team to perform all cardiac diagnostic testing on both outpatient and in patients. Test would include ECG, Holter Monitoring and Analysis, Assisted TOES, Stress Echo Cardiograms. For this site, please also expect complex studies, so producing high quality in depth echocardiograms of an average allocated time of 45 minutes - one hour is expected. You will be using GE and Philips machines.
