About the opportunity

Reporting to the COO, you will take responsibility for managing the production facility. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to manage an existing team and introduce best practice to prepare for the growth into a new market.

Duties

  • Manage a small, one shift production facility
  • Lead an existing production team and teach best practice
  • Ensure the operations area produces enough product to meet demand
  • Manage inventory to minimise costs and meet production plans
  • Ensure compliance quality and regulations
  • Develop production plans from budgets and forecasts
  • Initiate and support development projects
  • Drive change and improvements across the operation
  • Support Sales and Service

Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing Production within either pharmaceutical or medical device
  • Leadership experience - lead and mentor an existing team and support growth
  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager
  • Hand's on with excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the industry, regulations, codes and guidelines is essential.
  • Strategic with good business and financial acumen.
  • Collaborative and able to work in an environment with consistent change.
