About the company

About the opportunity
Reporting to the COO, you will take responsibility for managing the production facility. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to manage an existing team and introduce best practice to prepare for the growth into a new market.
Duties
- Manage a small, one shift production facility
- Lead an existing production team and teach best practice
- Ensure the operations area produces enough product to meet demand
- Manage inventory to minimise costs and meet production plans
- Ensure compliance quality and regulations
- Develop production plans from budgets and forecasts
- Initiate and support development projects
- Drive change and improvements across the operation
- Support Sales and Service
Skills and Experience
- Experience managing Production within either pharmaceutical or medical device
- Leadership experience - lead and mentor an existing team and support growth
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager
- Hand's on with excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of the industry, regulations, codes and guidelines is essential.
- Strategic with good business and financial acumen.
- Collaborative and able to work in an environment with consistent change.
