About the opportunity

 
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the team within the warehouse, ensuring product is picked, packed and prepared accurately for dispatch as well as maintain inventory and transfer stock between facilities. You will also be required to support the leadership team with administrative duties within operations ensuring compliance is met, working on improvement initiatives and supporting projects within the warehouse.
 

Duties

  • Process inventory and stock transfers
  • Prepare orders for delivery, including complex medical kits
  • Ensure product is accurate, labelled correctly and on time
  • Optimise inventory and processes within the warehouse
  • Report damage or losses
  • Update the system and documentation on stock movements
  • Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
  • Maintain documents and update compliance records
  • Assist with improvement initiatives or projects within operations
  • Investigate discrepancies or issues involving deliveries
 
 
Skills and Experience
  • Warehouse and Inventory Control within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is essential
  • Strong understanding of documenting inventory and compliance
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to work hands-on in the warehouse as well as administrative tasks
  • Ability to build strong business relationships
  • Organised with a continuous improvement mind-set
  • Computer literate with experience using a WMS and ERP such as SAP
  • Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude
