About the opportunity
The Microbiology QC Analyst will perform Sterility testing of products, Environmental monitoring, and Qualification of Sterility Isolators in compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations to ensure product specifications are met.
 
Duties

• Perform Sterility testing of products
• Perform Environmental Monitoring, including viable and non-viable monitoring
• Assist with preparation, review and update of Standard Operation Procedures and Procedures for testing
• Perform Data entry using LIMS
• Assist in Qualification (IQ, OQ and PQ) of the Sterility Isolator
• Participate in investigation of out of specification results as required
• Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained / prepared in accordance with approved procedures
• General laboratory housekeeping and ordering of consumables
• Use of Microsoft Office applications and internal documentation and Quality systems

Skills and Experience

• Microbiology background is necessary
• Degree in Microbiology or Science with further studies in Microbiology or equivalent
• Preferably experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience within a laboratory or filling Sterility Isolator is desirable
• Experience within Qualification of Equipment is desirable
• Familiar with the USP/BP/EP compendial requirements
• Strong aseptic techniques
• Good knowledge of the TGA (PICs) and FDA requirements
• Strong GDP and GLP knowledge
