The Client
Provide support to the Australian Health care System. Utilising your experience as a PGY +5 years and above, you will provide support in evaluating, assessing and monitoring products that is safe for patients. As an AHPRA registered medical officer, you will be working and providing support to a department that is at the forefront of the latest R&D.
Job Requirements
As a PGY 5+ medical officer, you will be working as a contractor. The vacancy is looking for a medical officer that can work 37.5 hour work week Monday to Friday between 0900am - 5pm. There is flexibility around how many days you work, however, the ideal scenario is to commit to a minimum of 3 days a week and commence around the first week of February, 2024. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work some days in the office and at the comfort of your own home.
As a medical officer, performing a non clinical role, you will be responsible for reviewing research data, evaluating clinical data and dossiers. The role will utilise your experience as a clinician in surgery to support the orthopaedics portfolio. The role will require you to form a view, based on account safety standards and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Australian Citizen
Current AHPRA Registration
Interest in Public Health, desirable
Worked as a registrar supporting orthopaedics, desirable.
Knowledge and experience with the Australian Health care System
