About the Company
Our client regulates the quality and supply of medical devices, medicines, pathology devices, blood products and most other therapeutics and has a strong patient-centric approach to enhancing patient lives. The team adopts an ethical scientific approach to commercialising products by working closely with health care professionals around Australia and reviewing the efficacy, safety standard of a product, prior to commercialisation of the goods.
Duties
Utilise your skills gained in the Australian hospital/medical setting
In this position, you will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing research data and literature
- Evaluating clinical data and dossiers
- Writing reports and form a view based on research findings
- The doctor will review and take into consideration, safety standards and effectiveness of a medical device
- Follow clinical protocols and procedures
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice
- Attend to meetings and respond to inquiries via email
- Effective communicator - oral and written
- Work closely with scientist and medical device companies
- Be part of the team that reviews products, prior to the medical device being commercialised
- Reviewing scientific data and interpreting the information
- Work on multiple projects
Requirements
- Eligible for AHPRA registration
- Interest in epidemiology, public health, health information
- Experience working in the Australian hospital setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of clinical protocols, desirable
- Exposure managing phase I-IV clinical trials, desirable
- Ability to work on more than one project at a time
- Provide recommendations and findings, derived from evidence based medicine.
