As the Medical Affairs Associate, you will support medical, marketing, sales, and regulatory functions across the prescription and OTC businesses. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, your role will include reviewing promotional materials, engaging in scientific exchange with key stakeholders, and delivering therapy area training. About the Opportunity
As the Medical Affairs Associate, you will support medical, marketing, sales, and regulatory functions across the prescription and OTC businesses. Reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, your role will include reviewing promotional materials, engaging in scientific exchange with key stakeholders, and delivering therapy area training. Your work will directly impact the successful execution of brand strategy, compliance, and scientific credibility across the product portfolio.
Duties
- Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials
- Provide scientific and clinical input for brand planning and product launches
- Engage with external stakeholders including KOLs and patient organisations
- Deliver product training and scientific content to internal teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant Codes of Practice and internal policies
- Contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies
- Tertiary degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Nursing or related healthcare degree
- Familiar with the MA Code of Conduct and/or Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code
- Background in medical affairs role with either OTC or prescription medicine exposure
- 2-3 years experience as a Medical Affairs Associate
- Experience reviewing promotional material
- Ability to understand, analyse, and clearly communicate complex medical issues
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
