The Practice  

The Clinic is conveniently located to public transport.  The team is made up of medical specialist doctors with an interest in research and development.  The clinic are  always working to improve the patient experience and give patients access to the latest technologies.  The practice has strong ties and affiliations with hospitals across Sydney.  The doctors have sub speciality interest in their chosen field.  This Medical Practice has been in operations for more than 10 years and the clinic is supported by 6 specialist doctors.  

The Position  

As an experienced user of Genie Software System in the capacity of medical administrator, a vacancy has become available, immediately.  You will provide front line medical administration support to a steady but stable practice.  The role is open to medical administrators that can be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 

Responsibilities 

  • Use medical software system - Genie 
  • Be available to work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday  
  • This role will require you to perform a combination of customer service and administrative tasks in a specialist clinic.  
  • Opening and closing the clinic 
  • Be available to commence work at 0800am/0830am  and finish up to 4:00pm to 430pm
  • Be the face of the clinic, to welcome patients in a professional friendly manner 
  • Manage appointments, confirming appointments, booking appointments 
  • Process private billings and Medicare rebates 
  • Answering phone calls 
  • Keep patient records up to date  
  • Provide information pack to patients 
  • Strive to create a positive patient experience 
  • Ensure rooms are tidy and aesthetically, pleasing 
  • Work closely with referring doctors
  • Attending to incoming and out bound phone calls 
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues, patients and external health-care professionals
