About the opportunity:
As a Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in the processing of goods in and out of the warehouse. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all inventory counts, stock allocations, and customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Duties:
Process incoming shipments
Pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch as well as create courier con notes
Maintain a tidy workspace and optimise inventory
Provide system support with data entry of stock counts and received orders
Offer Back up as a customer service person, when required
Skills and Experience:
Warehouse experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is essential
SAP knowledge is a must
Good organisational and time management skills
Attention to detail and good with numbers
Strong communication with the ability to assist customer service
