The Opportunity
Due to company growth and seeking to expand their national footprint, our client is introducing a newly created role - Key Account Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, to ensure tenders and contracts are negotiated and successfully secured across Australia's private and public hospital channels.
The successful professional will seek to develop and maintain robust working business relationships with an objective to increase market share and enhance patients' lives by providing affordable access to medicines.
The successful candidate will present:
- Excellent understanding of Australia's hospital-channel / generic-market
- Superior commercial acumen and analytical skills with strong understanding of KAM principles, focused on ROI
- Proven successes in contract & tender negotiations and management within Australia's hospital channel
- Proven established relationships at hospital c-suite level. E.g. Director of Pharmacies and Procurement
- Tertiary qualifications in either a business/science discipline, ideal
