The Opportunity
Due to company growth and seeking to expand their national footprint, our client is introducing a newly created role - Key Account Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, to ensure tenders and contracts are negotiated and successfully secured across Australia's southern states' private and public hospital channels.
The successful professional will seek to develop and maintain robust working business relationships with an objective to increase market share and enhance patients' lives by providing affordable access to medicines.

- Excellent understanding of Australia's hospital and/or Pharmacy Banner Group channel
- Proven operational and commercial successes within Australia's generic-market
- Superior commercial acumen and analytical skills with strong understanding of KAM principles, focused on ROI
- Proven successes in contract & tender negotiations and management
- Demonstrated successes in building and maintaining B2B business relationships.
- Established relationships with Hospital's Director of Pharmacies and Procurement, highly advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications in either a business/science discipline, ideal
