About the opportunity
As an ethical and self-driven Hospital Key Account Manager you will be responsible for promoting the organisation's specialised portfolio, specifically Gastroenterology, across QLD and NT as your defined territory.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working within a highly skilled and supportive team you will be required to demonstrate a clear understanding of the product, competitor products and the disease state. You will be commercially savvy and be able to influence through superior clinical discussions. Furthermore, you will be effective in completing sales reports and work within a set promotional budget.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maximising sales and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all key customers including: IBD Specialists, Gastroenterologists other associated healthcare professionals;
- Create and implement an effective business plan including objectives, activities, timing and budget and track progress throughout the year.
- Become an expert in the clinical data and promote effective use of products
Skills and Experience required
- Proven success in strategic territory-based sales, specifically Pharmaceutical Hospitals sales;
- Established sales experience calling on Gastroenterologists preferred but not essential;
- Demonstrate both a strong commercial and technical aptitude;
- Be able to interpret clinical data and communicate effectively;
- Display impeccable presentation and professionalism;
- Be self-organised, think strategically and be solution oriented;
- Ideally have a Tertiary Qualification (Health related or Science preferred)
