About the Opportunity:

As the Inventory Manager, you will manage and optimise inventory levels, ensuring accurate sales forecasts and efficient product planning. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, playing a crucial role in maintaining stock health and supporting business objectives. This hands-on role is essential for driving process improvements and ensuring seamless operations within the surgical division.


Duties:

  • Implement and manage inventory levels.
  • Conduct monthly forecast review meetings.
  • Place inventory purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Maintain healthy stock levels and address issues.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage risks.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews.
  • Update forecasting systems with sales intelligence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Inventory Management within medical devices, pharmaceutical or hospitals is essential.
  • Exposure to consignment stock would be highly beneficial.
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics would be ideal.
  • Proficiency in inventory control systems is essential.
  • Experience working with SAP is ideal. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and implement processes. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work through change.
