The Clinic  

We’re partnering with a respected private healthcare group in regional NSW that’s ready to welcome another Gastroenterologist. You’ll walk into full theatre lists, excellent support, and the flexibility to fly in and fly out once a fortnight or once a month. In this role you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:


  • Conduct thorough examinations, assessments, and diagnostic procedures related to gastroenterology.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and other relevant interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
Patient Engagement:
  • Establish strong doctor-patient relationships through effective communication and empathy.
  • Educate patients on preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
  • Ensure a patient-centred approach, addressing concerns and promoting overall well-being.
Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other health care professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About You
  • FRACP in Gastroenterology (or equivalent)
  • Current or eligible AHPRA Specialist Registration
  • Confident in colonoscopy and gastroscopy 
  • GESA certified  
  • Collaborative, professional, and ready to make an impact
