The Practice 

This is a leading health care provider dedicated to delivering high-quality medical services. The team of health care professionals is committed to improving patient care through innovative treatments and a patient-centred approach.  The clinic do not have lock in contracts.  You will find that you will be well supported and owing to the regular flights available, it is a great location to serve a regional community with a large catchment population. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations to diagnose and manage gastroenterological conditions.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Manage and oversee a theatre list, ensuring efficient scheduling and patient care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and education activities to stay current with advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree with specialisation in Gastroenterology.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in endoscopic procedures and gastroenterological treatments.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to travel and work on a FIFO basis and or choose to live in area.
