Job Description: This Private Clinic is seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating disorders of the digestive system, ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

  • Conduct thorough examinations, assessments, and diagnostic procedures related to gastroenterology.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and other relevant interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
Patient Engagement:
  • Establish strong doctor-patient relationships through effective communication and empathy.
  • Educate patients on preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
  • Ensure a patient-centered approach, addressing concerns and promoting overall well-being.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other health care professionals, including surgeons, anaesthetists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Research and Professional Development:
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in gastroenterology through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Fellowship training in Gastroenterology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • GESA
Experience:
  • Proven experience as a practising Gastroenterologist.
  • Competence in performing endoscopic procedures.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
