About the opportunity:


As the Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of medical device products and supplies within the warehouse. You will play a vital role as part of a team in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders, and maintaining inventory levels. This role is important to the business as it ensures that products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.


Duties:

  • Operate a forklift with high reach capability.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming supplies and products
  • Pick and fill orders from stock, pack and ship orders to customers
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or expired stock
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines
  • General warehouse duties as required

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience operating a forklift with high reach capability within a warehouse environment is essential
  • Experience working in the medical device, pharmaceutical or wider healthcare industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Good communication
  • Computer proficiency and able to learn new systems
  • Able to commit to a 6 week assignment
