The Clinic
Job Description:
Owing to some sonographers, moving out of area, the clinic is currently seeking skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to Fly in and Fly out on a one week block. Forward dates are welcome. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, work and manage interesting and complex pathology, collaborate closely with a team of cardiologists and health care professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a list of TTE
- Perform echo cardiograms, stress echo cardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment with proficiency, ensuring high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results.
- Experience using Philips machines
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to privacy and confidentiality guidelines.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold standards of excellence in cardiac imaging services.
- Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- 45 minute appointments for each patient
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Ultrasound.
- Accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) or equivalent accrediting body.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, preferably in a clinical cardiology setting.
- Proficiency in performing echo cardiograms, stress echo cardiograms
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- This position is for a one-week block, with the possibility of returning
