About the opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for managing the logistics and import function as well as the day to day distribution activities.

Duties

• Manage day to day activities for inbound and outbound stock.
• Stock on hand management and inventory reconciliation.
• Coordinate and manage logistics activities, import and customs documentation, shipment tracking and reporting.
• Investigate stock discrepancies.
• Maintain quality and compliance in relation to product distribution.
• Manage the RFQ process with suppliers, negotiations and monitor supplier performance.

Skills and Experience

• Experience working within logistics and distribution within the pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare industry is required.
• Experience managing day to day inbound and outbound activities and 3PL supplier relationships.
• Experience in import coordination with solid knowledge on customs requirements & documentation.
• Analytical with strong reporting and excel skills.
• Experience working with SAP would be highly advantageous.
• High attention to detail.
• Collaborative with the ability to build strong business relationships.
