About the opportunity
This is a senior commercial finance role reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance. As Manager for the Health division in the Sydney office, you will be responsible for providing expert strategic, commercial and financial advice and developing business cases. You will be joining a growing team in Sydney and will engage with internal and external stakeholders to expand existing markets, working closely with a team of consultants. Your contributions will have a significant impact on the business and the healthcare industry.

Duties

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing expert commercial and financial advice

  • Develop project scopes, identify investment objectives, and conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis

  • Develop and analyse financial models to guide investment decisions

  • Assess procurement and financing options, conducting appraisals of return-on-investment possibilities

  • Coordinate and manage client workshops, facilitating effective communication and collaboration in project discussions

  • Prepare documentation for workshops and consultations, presenting results and business cases

  • Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations while seeking opportunities to expand markets and services

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent financial modelling skills

  • Experience working with hospitals or in corporate finance/ advisory on healthcare related deals/ projects

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Healthcare

  • CFA qualification highly regarded

  • Exceptional business/commercial acumen

  • Highly analytical and keen problem solver

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presenting skills
