About the Opportunity

As Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll take ownership of cloud security across a broad Microsoft ecosystem. From strategy and design to technical execution, this role is hands-on and central to the company's evolving security maturity. You’ll implement controls, respond to threats, uplift internal awareness, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes. 


Duties
  • Manage cloud security tools across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments 
  • Respond to and remediate vulnerabilities, alerts, and audit findings
  • Act as a security architect, guiding and reviewing solution design and implementation
  • Drive improvements in Secure Score, compliance metrics, and endpoint protection
  • Run end-user security training and phishing simulations
  • Collaborate with the data governance team on Data Loss Prevention and sensitive data protection
  • Liaise with external vendors and incident response partners when required

Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience implementing Microsoft cloud security solutions 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 security controls
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS-500, Azure Security Engineer, Security Operations Analyst)
  • Comfortable navigating both technical and business conversations
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharma, medical devices will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to firewall management and scripting is preferred
  • Ability to plan, lead and own security initiatives end-to-end
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
