Our client is a reputable provider of Aged Care, with a large array of Aged care facilities known throughout the Queensland region. About the opportunity
Managing a Large Aged Care facility from a clinical perspective, overseeing the multidisciplinary teams involved in providing valued patient centred care. Work in the lead role of clinical governance of the facility, overseeing the submissions of clients and enhancement of ACFI funding.
Establishing effective relationships in a leadership position, encouraging the development and progression of the multidisciplinary teams. Support the residential manager in the progression and continued development of the facility, whilst maintaining strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a large multidisciplinary team
- Daily management & oversight of clinical governance
- Problem-solving abilities applicable to all areas of care services
- Provide clinical support within complex nursing care situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ensure resident lifestyle & care needs are met
- Ensure quality & accreditation guidelines are met
- Management & maximisation of ACFI process
Skills and Experience
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Staff training, management & leadership experience
- Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
- Extensive Clinical skills
- Experience with ACFI process
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities
- Understanding of quality & accreditation indicators
- Experience within Aged Care
