About the opportunity
As the Clinical Maternity Systems Specialist, Midwifery, you will play a critical role in assessing how a leading international maternity digital system will be adapted for the Australian market. You will map maternity pathways, analyse state and national clinical and reporting requirements, and work closely with clinical and technical teams across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Reporting to a senior public health leader, your insights will shape decisions on localisation, feasibility and product direction.
 
Duties
  • Analyse and map maternity pathways across priority states
  • Review differences in national and state maternity workflows
  • Assess screening tools, reporting requirements and clinical protocols
  • Provide senior midwifery insight for system localisation
  • Collaborate with technical and clinical stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Contribute to feasibility and business case assessment for the Australian market
 
Skills and Experience
  • Registered Midwife (practising or non-practising, Australian healthcare environment and experience essential)
  • Experience in digital health or maternity transformation
  • Strong understanding of Australian maternity pathways (national and state-based, ideally Victoria, Western Australia and/or Queensland)
  • Excellent communication and documentation capabilities
