About the Company:

Our client is a specialty pharmaceutical organisation focused on advanced, long-acting treatment technologies designed to improve outcomes in chronic, high-needs patient populations. With a rapidly expanding presence across Australia, the business is known for its agility, strong clinical evidence base, and commitment to delivering innovative therapies that streamline care, reduce treatment burden, and enhance continuity for vulnerable patient groups. Their national team is growing, supported by a robust development pipeline and global activity.

The Role:
Because of you… patients with complex conditions will gain easier access to an innovative long-acting therapy that improves care continuity and clinical outcomes.

As a Hybrid Pharmaceutical Representative in NSW, you will drive adoption, expansion, and sustained use of a market-leading long-acting injectable treatment across GP practices, specialists, community health services, pharmacists, and correctional health teams.

This is a strategic, commercially focused role requiring strong account planning, clinical conversation capability, and confidence navigating healthcare environments where treatment barriers and stigma can influence access pathways. You will operate as a true partner to your customers, influencing behaviour change and uncovering new opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, activate, and support new prescribers
  • Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships across primary, specialist, and community health
  • Promote the therapy ethically and effectively through high-quality clinical and commercial conversations
  • Develop and execute detailed quarterly territory plans
  • Expand treatment pathways and improve access across NSW
  • Investigate GP and community opportunities to uncover untapped patient cohorts
  • Support clinicians in identifying and managing suitable patients
  • Address barriers, support change, and guide best-practice treatment models
  • Collaborate effectively with national colleagues and cross-functional teams
  • Represent the brand at conferences and educational events

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Ausralian pharmaceutical, specialty or complex therapy sales
  • Proven success driving GP engagement and territory development
  • Experience in CNS, mental health, chronic disease, pain, or similar settings, highly regarded
  • Strong strategic account management capability
  • Ability to identify, activate, and convert new prescribers
  • High emotional intelligence and comfort working in sensitive therapy environments
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing ability
  • Commercially astute with strong planning and organisational skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, science, or related fields, highly regarded

NB: Australian working rights required. Sponsorship is not on offer
