Duties
- Manage sourcing, negotiation and contracts for mechanical component categories
- Drive cost reduction, sustainability, and supplier performance initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
- Support transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and category process improvements
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency supply plans
- Contribute to planning and execution of new product launches
- Strong experience of strategic sourcing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes
- Experience in a regulated industry (GMP/medical/pharma)
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies eg injection moulding, metal forming, die casting, PCB assembly
