The Clinic 

The practice has built a reputation for quality and operational excellence.  Located in beautiful Tasmania, you will have access to pristine beaches, excellent schooling, fresh produce, better work life balance and affordable living.  In addition, you will work along side a team of very experienced cardiologist with sub specialty interest.  The Clinic offers a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services and has a purpose built facility,  to provide holistic patient care.  

The Position 

Working during clinic hours of 830am-500pm, Monday to Friday  you will provide an average of 5 new consults, 6 general consults, echo reporting list with an average of 14 consults per day. Estimated 7 echo an hour and 9 ESE per session. Option to also do more consults.   
There is a well structured schedule in place where an cardiologist will have an ESE list and reporting and consultations in the afternoon.  You will be supported by a team of sonographers that are well trained and will assist with producing the preliminary reports. 

Requirements  

• AHPRA Specialist Registration - unconditional 
• Excellent bed side manner 
• Team Player 
• Keen interest to provide the best quality patient care  
• Interest in ongoing learning and development 
• Proven experience as a general cardiologist or cardiologist with sub specialist interest in imaging.
