The Practice

Located in the Eastern Suburbs and access to public transport, this established cardiology practice has been in operations for more than 20 years. The specialist clinic is supported by a team of nurses, cardiac technicians, admin staff and cardiologist with sub speciality interest in prevention, non invasive and interventional procedures. The clinic has strong ties with tertiary teaching hospitals and private hospitals in Sydney, giving patients direct access to services such as acute coronary care, coronary angioplasty/stenting, nuclear cardiology, EP, TOES, cardiac surgery and Cardiac CT services.

The Vacancy

The nurse or cardiac technician will be able to perform 12 lead ECG, BP monitoring, report Holter Monitors, provide support for echo and stress echo set up for sonographers. Work with patients to explain processes and perform patient investigations prior to carrying out the testing.

Requirements

Life Science Degree, Bachelor of Exercise Physiology or Nursing Degree or ASAR 2A cardiac sonographer trainee

Proven experience in being able to perform ABP, Set up Holters and perform readings.
