The Practice  

This Cardiovascular Practice  is a clinic that has been in operations for more than one decade and a half.   This cardiovascular clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-focused cardiac care, ensuring the highest standards in diagnostic and interventional cardiology.
A vacancy for a cardiac sonographer has become available to commence as soon as possible on a Wednesday. 


The Position.

The clinic requires an experienced cardiac sonographer on Wednesday as a regular casual or permanent part time employee.   The role will involves performing high-quality echocardiographic studies, working alongside two cardiologist

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Trans-thoracic Echocardiography (TTE) and Stress Echocardiography and producing preliminary reports 
  • Conduct ultrasound studies to support structural and interventional cardiology, including LV function and valve assessments for TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation).
  • Use GE ultrasound machines and EchoPAC reporting software for accurate and efficient reporting.
  • Work closely with health care professionals to ensure a seamless work flow and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in sonographic techniques.
  • Assist in improving patient flow and efficiency within the clinic.
Requirements 
  • Accredited Cardiac Sonographer with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in TTE and Stress Echocardiography with strong diagnostic skills.
  • Competent in using GE ultrasound machines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and patient care
